These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of indiepenpress.store (“the Store”) and your purchase of products from us, Indie Pen Press LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By placing an order or using the Store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Store.

1. Orders and Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for product unavailability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors. If we cancel your order after payment, we will refund the full amount within 5 business days.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may change prices at any time, but published prices apply to confirmed orders. Sales tax is added where required by law. Payment is processed through Stripe; we never store your full card number.

3. Physical Books

• Shipping: orders typically ship within 1 business day from the United States via the carrier displayed at checkout
• Risk of loss: passes to you upon delivery by the carrier
• Returns: within 30 days of delivery if the book is unread, undamaged, and in resaleable condition. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the book arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover return shipping
• Signed books: paperback and hardcover orders may be signed by the author when noted. Signed books are eligible for return only if defective

4. Digital Products (eBooks and Audiobooks)

• Digital purchases are delivered via BookFunnel or directly via email link after payment
• You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read or listen to the content for your own private, non-commercial use
• You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or commercially exploit any digital purchase
• Refunds: digital purchases are non-refundable once the download or access link has been provided, unless the file is defective or substantially different from its description

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Store — including book covers, descriptions, text, images, logos, and software — is the property of Indie Pen Press LLC or its authors and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission, except as permitted by fair use law (e.g., short quotations with attribution).

6. User Conduct

When you create an account, write a review, or otherwise submit content, you agree:

• You will not submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or abusive content
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your review on the Store, attributing your chosen display name
• We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion

7. Warranties and Liability

The Store is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Store or any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order or $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Store links to third-party retailers (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, etc.) and uses third-party services (Stripe, BookFunnel, MailerLite). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third party.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you consent to that exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Store after changes means you accept them.
